The 2025 season is very close, I am sure we are all hoping for a summer of fine weather.  This seasons Captain is Mr Paul Hall and his Vice Captain is Mr Kevin Jefferies, I am sure they have a program of exciting and interesting events, so keep checking the website for updates. 
Captain Paul has commenced his campaign to encourage new members to  join our very social and friendly Lawn Bowls Club here in John Coles Park.
Our first social event for members is usually the “Fish and Chip” fixture, this is a time when we all meet up for the first time as bowlers.
We have had very successful Wednesday morning social meetings at the club, well attended and enjoyable, coffee/tea and cake, dominoes fives and three’s, Cribbage or just sit with friends and chat.
Throughout the Winter season there have been several social evenings organised by Anthea and her husband Dave, thank you both for your efforts.
We have our qualified Club Coach Mr Tony Bromilow who a little later in the season will have his coaching sessions usually on a Friday evening, he will welcome both new and seasoned bowlers.
The Club not only has Full Bowling Membership there is also Social Membership, if you only want to pop in and enjoy watching a game, either seated outside or in our excellent Club House, that is the membership for you.
